Was born in Baltimore 52 yrs. ago. would like to learn hapkido, but "pure hapkido" not taught locally. Have trained in snow barefoot, am willing to practice breakfalls, and tan-jon breathing. Could you suggest basic routine for my children and me until I can visit you in Baltimore? Thanks

Nice to see that Master Rim and hapkido in Baltimore is still going strong. As I look back over the years, my respect for him increases when I realize how difficult it must have been to teach such an undisciplined boy as much as he did in only a few years. Are lessons still taught in Catonsville?

You would agree that odds were greatly against Mr. Rim becoming my next door neighbor when he immigated to this country in 1973. How lucky I was. A great man with immeasurable humility.

I have been a student of Master Rims for 5 years, he is truly an amazing instructor/person. It is an honor to learn such a powerful art at the hands of a true Grandmaster. He IS the "Gentle Warrior."

I feel priviledged to be a student of Grandmaster Rim and belong to the small "Band of Brothers" who study at our dojang.
